Ilissa Povich

Ilissa Povich focuses on transactional editing and has earned high praise for her editing skills and for her talent for translating complex deals into clean, sharp documents.

Ilissa graduated summa cum laude from Duke University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and from Harvard Law School. She practiced business law at a major Boston law firm for 8 years and has played a lead role in negotiating and drafting documents for public offerings, secured lending transactions, venture capital financings and private placements.  Following her years in private practice, Ilissa spent 4 years as Vice President and General Counsel for Interactive Data Corporation in Bedford, Massachusetts. She is also writer for Brumberg Publications in Brookline Mass.
